Visitor Statistics (Google Analytics)
Track your website’s audience: number of visitors, most-viewed pages, traffic sources, and more. WebAcappella FUSION natively integrates Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM), with a GDPR-compliant consent banner—without having to copy a single line of code.
Enable audience tracking
- Open the site’s general settings, under “Analytics / Cookie Banner.”
- Select your tracking service and enter its ID.
- Publish your site: the tracking code is automatically embedded on all pages.
Three tracking service options are available:
- None: No tracking code is embedded on the site (default option).
- Google Analytics (basic): Track your site’s audience to understand how your visitors use it. Enter your property’s measurement ID (format: G-XXXXXXXXXX).
- Google Tag Manager (advanced): Manage all your tracking tags (analytics, ads, remarketing) from a single interface. Enter the container ID (format: GTM-XXXXXXX).
Where can you find your ID?
- Google Analytics: Create a property at analytics.google.com, then go to Admin > Data Streams > your web stream: the measurement ID (G-…) is displayed in the top-right corner.
- Google Tag Manager: Create a web container at tagmanager.google.com; the container ID (GTM-…) appears in the top bar of the workspace.
GDPR Consent Banner
Once a tracking service is selected, the cookie consent banner is enabled by default: no data is collected until the visitor has given consent. Its options (strict mode, “Manage Cookies” button, advertising consent with GTM, accent color) are detailed on the dedicated page:

Verify that tracking is working
- Publish your site, then open it in your browser.
- Accept the consent banner.
- In Google Analytics, open the “Real-Time” report: your visit should appear within a few seconds.
Other analytics tools (Matomo, Plausible, etc.)
You can integrate another audience measurement tool by inserting its script into the custom HTML code in the site’s general properties (HEAD section). In this case, you are responsible for managing this tool’s GDPR consent.
